This one-day intensive class is about experimenting with marbling inks on silk and paper. Students will each create 6 marbled silk handkerchiefs to create small interesting fabric samples which they can later frame or incorporate into other materials. Students may also bring additional fabrics or papers to experiment with. The meditative quality of this practice makes it a perfect activity to spend the weekend on.
Materials are included in the registration fee.
This class meets in the Sulfur Studios Annex on the 2nd floor and is stair access only.
