“The way to save this planet and ourselves is to embrace our only home and help all the other species imperiled by human activity. Roadways lead to urban development and create a network of convenience for us to get anything, anywhere, anytime. These conveniences are stripping away species that ultimately will keep us alive. Billboards are a source of convincing drivers to do or think something. Maybe I can sway one to take ecological action by making this artwork. But, a billboard may reach an audience one cannot reach in an art venue. Perhaps, this is my next step...”
