“I love Key deer. The endangered species lives only in the Florida Keys. It is a subspecies of the White-tailed deer and only 700 - 800 remain. Roadway accidents and increased hurricane activity are the biggest reasons for their decline. This is my sixth study of the deer. I haven't quite figured out why I start feeling anxious if I don't paint one or two yearly.”
